Fire & Ice Winter Solstice Celebration Presented by the Elders Vision Council
Winter Solstice is that point in Earth’s journey ‘round the Sun when daylight in our hemisphere once again begins to increase, ever-so-slightly. Elders Vision Council invites you to join us in celebrating this cosmic turn-about through an outdoor Solstice celebration at Murray Creek Falls, Wednesday December 21, 2016 beginning at 5 PM with a fire circle, refreshments and spontaneous sharing. Then, at 6 PM, enjoy a modest fireworks display that will light up the frozen falls like you’ve never seen them before!
Those of you who don’t wish to treck up to the fire-pit, or to the falls, may want to enjoy the show from the comfort of your automobiles as the fireworks should be visible from Murray Creek Road. This event is free and open to the whole community. Y’all come!
