Lytton- Gold Country Geocache Event

May 13, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Lytton Join us in Caboose Park to see how everyone “Caches In”. Final awards, cash in your tokens, door prizes and more at the final day. 1pm-3pm Gold Country’s 5th Annual Geocaching Event May 11th-13th, 2018 This year’s event will introduce 8 new Geocaches added to Gold Country Geotour The addition of these 8 new caches brings Gold Country’s Geotour to 150 Caches for Canada’s 150 Anniversary. These new caches will have stickers that will count towards the Gold Bar Geocoin (redeem 24 stickers from caches) and also can be used towards completing 72 of either of Gold Country’s Phase 1 & Phase 2 books completely, helping to get you to that Puzzle challenge! The new caches are interchangeable with both rewards! Woo Hoo! Collect to win! Gold Country original geocaches (from Phase 1 & Phase 2) will have tokens hidden in them again this year. How it works: The original Gold Country Geotour Caches (the ones listed in Phase 1 and Phase 2 geoguides) will have special tokens placed in them randomly until the event. The geocaches will never have more than one token at once but they will be reloaded all summer long. So if there wasn’t a token reward the first time you visited, keep checking back! Collect 10 tokens to win a limited edition geocoin. The geocoins are only available for redemption on the final day of the Geoevent, you must be present to trade in 10 tokens for the coin.
