Cache Creek – BC Rivers Day

Cache Creek is hosting a BC Rivers Day at the Cache Creek Park from 10am – 4pm.
Events are as follows:
1:30pm – Dedication of River Viewing Platform. (Please bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on during ceremony.)
10:00am – Untrash the Cache CITO in the coverall. GC6QE6X (Garbage/recycling bags provided, and prizes.)
10:00am & 2:00pm – Free Bus Tour of Riverbank Restoration Projects. (Tour participants should assemble near park concession 20 minutes before tour.)
10:00am to 4:00pm – Static Watershed Displays in Park.
There will also be videos and slides for past two big river flooding events, First Nations presentation, and fisheries presentation. Food Concession will be available all day.
Come out and enjoy activities for the whole family.
