Cariboo Trails
Jul 8th, 2007 The 1st Annual ‘Cariboo Trails’ combined driving event was a great success! Gold Country staff attended the weekend of July 7 & 8 in 70 Mile House at the Huber Equestrian Center to observe competitors from across western Canada and the US competing in dressage, cones and marathon events. Equine exhibitors ranged from single ponies and teams to draft horses, while the drivers ranged from ‘green to gold.’ Volunteers of all ages shared in the fun of the weekend ‘pulling’ together to make this annual event a success. The community of 70 Mile House also rallied for the day to support the additional population with open doors, smiling faces and a bake sale to tempt your taste buds. Gold Country looks forward to the 2nd Annual Cariboo Trails in 2008!
