Cow Trail Classic Moutain Bike Race (Merritt)
Open to Recreational & Weekend Warriors !! This race is a great event for beginners and recreational racers alike. New for this year . . . The BC Cup series is back once again and the Cow Trail is the first event on the XC side of things. A longer course. A partnership with the great folks at Bike Cafe in Kamloops. They will be rolling out some cool new stuff at the race this year. Watch the web for details. Expect top racers participating, as well as weekend warriors, just for the fun of it. The race course includes some double track roads but is predominantly single track, including some challenging "technical" sections. We have modified the course a bit this year: The long loop is now longer, about 4 km longer than last year making one lap about 20 km. The easy lap is still available for novice racers. The easy lap is still available for novice racers The "easy" loop option is still available and eliminates the black diamond technical sections and the long climb on the top half of the loop.
