| Highland Valley Copper Summer Tours (Logan Lake) |
One of the World's Largest open-pit mines is hosting FREE summer tours !!
Enjoy a great general overview of the mining operations from blasting the rocks to reclaiming the land.
Tours run approximately 2 hours long, including an informative movie, scenic views of the pits, an extensive tour of the mill and a tranquil drive through reclaimed lands.
These tours are FREE but by reservation ONLY and run twice daily at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
This is an Industrial Environment so please note the following:
* NO open toed footware is permitted
* NO dresses shall be worn (pants are preferred)
* Children under 12 are not permitted in the mill
